Library information

The library of the Academy was founded in 1992 on the basis of the library of the Bishkek International School of Management, and with the opening of the Faculty of Economics and Management in 1998 became available for specialist degree programs (later - Bachelor's degree programs).

 

 

Today the library of the Academy is focused on information and bibliographic services for users of Master's and Bachelor's programs. The library has a subscription and a reading room.

The open collection of the reading room presents industry and relevant literature.

There is also an electronic library in the reading room with electronic 2,154 copies.

 

 

The library book fund consists of 32550 thousand copies of books in Russian, Kyrgyz and foreign languages.

The general reading room is designed for all categories of readers. The book fund of the library includes textbooks, educational methodological teaching aids, monographs, reference publications and abstracts.

 

 

Over 5000 copies are issued annually

 

 

Rights to use the Library

The right to use the library has: students, graduate students, teaching staff, as well as employees of the Academy.

Service

Readers can use all publications in the library.

The reader can get from the library fund:

Multiple educational literature (for 14 days);

Scientific literature (for 14 days).

Users are entitled to take no more than five books at a time.

The only, last copies, reference editions, are not issued out of the Library.

Before going on vacation and for summer vacations, readers are required to hand over all literature listed for them, no later than July 1.

Reading room rules:

1. Encyclopedias and reference books are issued only in the reading room.

2. It is prohibited to take literature out of the reading rooms. In case of violation of this rule, readers are deprived of the right to use the library for a period of 1 year.

In exceptional cases, debtors may be deprived of the right to use the library for the entire period of study at the Academy.
