Secondary Vocational Education

DESCRIPTION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The program of secondary vocational education (SVE) "Management of Information Systems" is a part of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after J. Abdrakhmanov APAPKR). Being a structural subdivision of the Academy, SVE implements basic programs of secondary vocational education and is on extra-budgetary funding at the expense of contract training.

Educational activity

SVE "Management of Information Systems" APAPKR began its activities in 2023, and implements programs of secondary vocational education. Educational activities are conducted in accordance with the current licenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, based on the State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic order "1578/1 from "21" September 2021, and is carried out on the educational and scientific and production base of the Academy, including financial and economic, through the accounting department of APAPKR named after J. Abdrakhmanov.

Today almost every organization has its own corporate information system, makes bank settlements through IT. That is why organizations urgently need specialists who know two "languages" - the language of management and the language of information technology. SVE  "Management of Information Systems" prepares managers with knowledge in the field of information technologies, who are able to establish effective communication between IT specialists and employees of enterprises. Students not only acquire knowledge and skills related to the operation and modification of modern information systems, but also learn management theory and organizational behavior.

The curricula are designed with a focus on the ultimate learning objectives: introduction of digital education in the development of digital skills; development of IT education; introduction of a dual system of practice-oriented education model. Upon completion of studies, SVE graduates receive a diploma of secondary vocational education.

• Term of study 1 year. 10 months

Training of competitive mid-level specialists who meet the requirements and expectations of stakeholders, who are proficient in information technologies, who are able to effectively solve the problems of digital transformation.
