From 7 to 11 April 2025, APAPKR employees took part in trainings on the topic: "Introduction to ESG" at the Technical University of Bratislava in Slovakia, within the framework of the Regional Project "ESGCA - Linking Environmental Challenges, Societal Needs and Good Governance in the Education and Employment Sectors of Central Asia" of the European Commission's ERASMUS+ programme.

Program content: ESG in education; Integration of ESG principles into curricula; ESG in the context of environmental sustainability; Waste minimization and recycling; Energy recovery from waste; Tour: Waste-to-energy facility, ZEVO Bratislava; Discussion with sustainable infrastructure experts - Sustainable materials and recycling; Sustainability assessment of construction products; Examples of materials with quantitative GWP and EPD certificates; Successful examples of emission reduction initiatives (cases); ESG in the construction sector; Protection of water resources; Tour: Bratislava water supply and sewerage system, Sigot water source; Awareness raising and education: Campaigns on water conservation and sustainable use; Educational programs on water conservation in schools and universities.

The training materials will be used by the teaching staff to develop the curriculum and syllabi.
